The Toyota Prius Plug-in Hybrid will cost from 'Under £30k'
Toyota has revealed that the Prius Plug-in will average 134.5mpg, emit 49g/km and cost under £35k in the UK. If you’re going to pay through the nose for a hybrid or electric car, probably the only route you should choose is a plug-in hybrid or a range-extender. And if you want to go the plug-in hybrid route you will now be able to get the Toyota Prius Plug-in Hybrid in the UK, and relieve the British taxpayer of £5k in the process.

In 2015, Mercedes will pension off the SLS AMG to start production of a new sports car:the GT AMG. So, here’s the inevitable special edition version: the creatively titled SLS AMG Final Edition. Available as a coupe and soft-top roadster, the Final Edition received a mixture of aerodynamic upgrades from the SLS Black Series, and luxury options to set itself apart from ‘normal’ SLS-kind.
‘Black’ Stig got the sack when he was revealed as F1 hopeful Perry McCarthy (who lives just down the road from our office) and was ceremoniously dropped from the Top Gear frolics by being jettisoned off an aircraft carrier.
